Reference for employee?

Nona Lentini: *employer

Fannie Collingwood: References for an employee means you are the employer. You write one, give it to the employee, and be done. If you were attempting to ask about *your* references, as an applicant, it depends on the type of job you are applying for. 3 is standard, but for low level customer service jobs, you might not need any....Show more

Elaina Adolfson: Don't submit any, just say that references are available upon request. Then it's up to the company to ask for a certain number of references.Normally you should have at least 3 references available.

Joaquin Dronko: normally they usually call 2..but they might ask for a couple more..in case they are unable to reach the other ones

Sook Hershkowitz: 5 to 6
