Airport Security Question?

Adelle Weight: Hopefully, every human who works at the airport in any capacity is checked thru security. Otherwise, what is the point.

Irma Poiter: Yes.Infact, I have heard that airport employees get checked harder then passengers. Mainly because they can go anywhere they want in the airport.

Kaylee Schmittou: Most airports have employee by-passes for people that are working, but their passes identify where they are supposed to be.The security guards don't have clearance to go airside.Any airport employee has to have a background check before they are issued an ID pass. If they have a temporary one (or are a new hire and their clearance check hasn't been completed yet) then they have to go through regular passenger screening (have their bags x-rayed, metal detector, etc).However, even if you are autho! rized to use the employee by-pass you can be stopped and given a random search....Show more
