Coleman Deliberato: hey Jake u didn't mention if u can go online with ur other pc.....i suppose u can't.....plz check if the sky router shows all the lights in green...if that is ok than try n connect a system using a cable connectin....n if that goes fine..i guess u shud check ur belkin wireless card....go to control panel, network connection, than wireless network connection n check the status......call ur service providers if there is any problem while performing the above steps...

Timmy Bustard: yes i've bridged the connection to the MAC u should use the default gateway router normal ip. The signal is just passed onto the Vista interface and should hit the gateway as if it were coming from the Vista PC

When doing this process properly, one should be able to clear the ARP cache.- y does it fail using the windows. well.. commands from command prompt works in the lower level t! hen windows. sometimes the windows cant do the job due to inefficient programming so we have to use the manual way instead. as you know its microsoft product afterall LOL.

Susan Rambo: If it worked fine for him, it is likely your own clients. What is the response when you run a test against the Ventrilo test server? (setup,test...) If slow there too, then it is your clients. If fast there, then your server is having some issues with your clients (or network).Try connecting to your vent server by IP and then by URL (if you ha! ve one). See if that makes a difference. If faster by IP, then your DNS may be causing the issue, or possibly a proxy interfering if you have that set...Try different codecs, lower speed ones first (GSM )Finally, make sure everything is set to PTT - use a key to key the transmit. Some of the VOX settings may hear background noise from your mike, and keep transmitting using up bandwidth and slowing down any receive (long shot there...)
