Todd Stogner: The Yamaha TSX-130 is a summary, commodious and attractive way to institute melodious enjoyment to your bedroom. Coif it to awaken you to your favourite music in the morning, and then expend it as a ready to hand place to keep open things you take, like eyeglasses or keys. And with its material wood top panel, it will tot an attractive touch to any interior.
Will Camus: if you dont want insane bass you should look at getting a few 6x9s in box in the trunk. i agree with the previous post alpine is a good brand and the amp should be ok since were rolling up on winter and in the summer you can throw a couple pc fans down there or even get a laptop cooling mat. you can wire these onto the swiched power on your radio as they run off 12 volts
Damion Oleksa: 1. Yes Alpine is a trusted brand for me.2. Sadly probably more than you spent on everything. I'd say 150-200$3. It should especially if you're only getting one ten. But, you might need a new deck, ! ask if your deck is a two RCA output, 1 RCA output is good for 1 amp. 2 for 2..., However, you can link your amps, I'm not sure if you'd want to do that if your using one for speakers and one for subs, ask a question about that if you don't have two RCA outputs on your deck (Which you should)4. You want amps to have breathing room, no direct sunlight, and you want nothing touching them directly on the top or sides, you want to keep thier vents clear. If you have room under the seat is okay, just make sure you have it secure, I'd suggest putting it in the trunk, it's more simple at least in most cases....Show more
Violette Vanek: Decent setup, you may run into an issue with the radio only having 1 pair of preouts if I remember right (I could be wrong). You will be happy with that setup. And running 6x9s in boxes is a waste of time, 6x9s are designed to provided mid>highs, if you want less bass or just to even out the sound go with a good 8" or a 10" since your sub will! be in the trunk. 300w rms sub/amp in a sealed box would make ! you happy IMO.Price estimate could vary, generally the better install shops will charge more. You get what you pay for in car audio that goes for install and product. Also check their warranties for how long they warranty the install down the road. You never know what may happen or what may stop working and it would suck to have to pay again to have it checked out. My shop would charge you around $420 roughly with labor and wiring with lifetime warranty.Alpines have very good heat dissipation your amp will be fine under the seat or on the back of the rear seats in the trunk. Running pc fans will probably be a waste of time and effort as alpines dont have "vents" anywhere that I have seen on them. Make sure nothing is pressing directly onto the amp as heat is the enemy of amplifiers....Show more
Cole Desher: Georgewillings is proper, i have used eclipse for ovet 10 years, i have the cd5000 and it has a 24bit dac that's about unparalleled in audio. The entire audio syst! em are excellent however the 4" and 6 3/four are refered to as mid variety or midbass drivers. Myself i ditch the tweeter for the rear fill, this improves stereo imaging and convey the sound coming from in front of you as a substitute then from behind. I'm sure it's going to rock out.
Providencia Jalbert: Nobody really knows how it will sound until it's all installed. Plus your choice of music may work in favor of the design or not. The speakers you selected are small and will give good mids and highs. Your sound will for sure be very bright. But if you want to custom tailor your sound to your liking, you need to install an equalizer between the head unit and the amp. Kenwood makes a small, very tiny equalizer with bass control that you will just love for how clean it makes everything sound. It's expensive, but very good quality unit. Here is one that looks just like Kenwoodhttp://www.techronics.com/caraudio_16167_Absolute-...Here is the Kenwood eqhttp://www.amazon.com/! Kenwood-Kgc-4042A-Compact-Gr...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-U7fQUeho1v8! /p_1134042...If you have 7" of space you can install a regular size mobil equalizer. Here is a model of one with good quality and volume control SSL S4EQ. Sounds clean and well built.Installers and sales people hat equalizers because they kill potential sail of additional and replacement parts. Eq can make many fine sound adjustments that a head unit simply cannot. Without eq, people replace speakers, amps, install additional filters, etc. This info is so you are not surprised when your installer start saying bad things about eq.You need 5 channel amp. 4 channels for your voice speakers, and the 5th channel for your sub.For the voice speakers you need 40-80 rms watts per channelFor the sub channel you need 300-500 rms watts on this channel. You can also get a powered sub, like this one http://www.crutchfield.com/p_108BASSLIN/Infinity-B...Or get a simple 4-channel amp plus 1-channel monoblock amp for the sub.If you go with 2 amps, you might save some money compared to a singl! e 5 channel amp, but its less to install and more space left in the trunk. Here is an example of 5-channel amphttp://www.techronics.com/caraudio_15295_Alpine-MR...You have a lot to consider. Go for quality over quantity and you will see that when the sound is clear, free from noise and distortion, you don't that much power to sound loud and clear....Show more
