Any ideas for creating a board game?

Gerardo Greist: If you want complete originality, try this or maybe an idea based on it. I found I love games including 3-D items, so you could maybe add on buildings or famous places from that civilization. There are many types of board games, monopoly type with "properties" and simple ones where you go around the board and do what the space/card tells you to do. There are strategic games like Risk and Stratego, and that might be kind of fun espessially with a civilization. Possibly two anchient cultures/teams that could battle using items native to their civilazation. Additions of mountains, lakes (drawn), and scenery in that time and place also might be worthwhile. Jude Kennelly: I made one a year or two ago about Roam civilization.Think on the grounds of Monopoly... but with a twist.I made a 72 titled circle, every other with a "Chance" card, and some with events (Vist a charriot race **Score +5**)On the chance cards:(Yo! u are being converted to Christianity, if you accept you can roll for 3 more turns, but at the end of the 3rd turn you have to go back to start, or decline and keep playing.)In that game first to 250 points won....Show more
