An Trebil: Playing games to the point of exhaustion is NOT an example of direct cause.Overdose on drugs is a good example of direct cause because once the drugs are taken, the effects are largely beyond that person's control.Video games don't have that kind of control. The only scenario I can think of where video games could directly cause a death would be perhaps a virtual reality chamber that kills the person inside due to mechanical failure or a software bug that triggers strong physical events....Show more
Curtis Josef: I want numbers for secondary INDIRECT deaths of video games.
Lenard Ginyard: I'm not saying that video game directly cause death, I'm just talking about exhaustion caused by the person choosing to play the game for a very long time. Don't make this a personal insult to video games.
Abby Herwood: Video games can not directly cause death. Obsession would be the cause of people dying because they didnt put the controller down and take a! walk, sleep, eat or drink...........video games are not sentient beings and cannot force human behaviour.
Clemmie Burkleo: Oh yes, and could you please give me a link to where you found the numbers, that's be great.
